Okay just connecting the dots here:

1. In the movie Hook, the Hollow is the tree in which PP/Tink lives and Wendy visits with Michael and John.  We know that Wendy never wanted to go back to that place.
2. In the movie the character of Hook sets the place on fire after PP leaves.  What if it happens when either Hook is trying to get Bae out or Rumple leaves when he was a Lost Boy.
3. Or it is the place in which PP rips shadows.  Creepy!
