I think 3B has the perfect opportunity to provide some real drama between Henry, Emma and Regina. As far as Henry is aware Emma is his one and only mom. As far as Emma is concerned, she is the one that raised Henry and therefore he’s her son. Regina is going to feel out in the cold. It could provide some real heartbreaking moments for Regina.
Also interestingly, even with the fake memories, Emma can relearn everything she’s learnt so far: Snowing are her parents, Rumple is Neal’s dad and Henry’s grandfather etc. The status quo can almost be restored except for one detail: That Regina is Henry’s mom. Everything could be accepted except that.
I would like to see that scenario play out and it would test the strength of Regina’s redemption. Can she stay good when she’s not got Henry as the incentive?
