i thought before that it had something to do with that map the was suppose to lead the his dagger? He couldn’t have figured out from looking in Rumple’s shop that’s for sure as it was protected from intruders with magic.
I’m fairly certain that the map thing was a huge ruse designed to throw off people like Cora and Hook who wanted the dagger to kill Rumple.
