We know Blue Fairy is going to be in episode 3 which could add extra evidence that this casting call is for Tinkerbell. Also, fairies have a reputation for being pranksters.
It’s also possible that PP won’t appear until halfway through the Autumn run in order to build up his threat level.
Perhaps “Violet” would be an acquaintance of Belle’s from when she was Lacey?
