Ok, so I’ve had this crack theory, given that they put out a casting call for Vi who we think is tinkerbell, it probably is not so, but here goes anyway. In the Disney Fairies version, Tinkerbell’s name is Bell. She’s called Miss Belle, until her talent is revealed to be a Tinker. There are other Tinker fairies, but she is one of the strongest/cleverest, and so she gets referred to as Tinker Bell. So….what if the connection to someone in Storybook, especially with the “they will see each other in NL but not what you think” is that Belle is connected to Tinkerbell? I can picture EdR with her natural hair color in the role.
Um, I actually really love this idea. I mean if Rumpelstiltskin can be a thousand characters (Rumple, Crocodile, the Beast) then Belle can be more than one as well. And I think that while it may seem obvious that Tinker Bell has a connection to the Blue Fairy, it would be a great twist and much more interesting for Belle to actually be Tinker Bell.
Ah! I really want this now! She can be Tinker Bell AND they need to talk to her through the mirror!
