Finally got a chance to get caught up on the last 10 or so pages of this thread. First of all…CaptainSwanFire are my real life BROT3, OMG THEY’RE ADORABLE! 🙂 Watching that MTV interview, I had a stupid grin on my face from start to finish. They’re such great friends and so dorky with the aura fluffing and whatnot, and Colin is so geeky adorable, I can’t stand how much I love them!! The other MTV interview was great too, (Josh Dallas isn’t “fangirl-ish“, he’s 100% fangirl. 😆 ), and the EW one was fun. When MRJ was leaning all over Ginny’s head I just thought they were all being so cute I wanted to reach into the screen and squish them all for how sweet they are together. Love them!! 🙂

Since Ariel will be introduced in season 3, I wonder how much involved will Ursula be in the events of Neverland. Assuming she’ll be a character on her own (hopefully!) and not a version of Regina or Rumple, I could see Peter doing all this villain stuff because of a deal he once struck with our sea witch, especially if it involves someone that’s not usually talked about in PP media, but seems to have made an impact in Peter’s life: his mother.

Traditionally Peter brings Wendy, Wendy’s daughter Jane and her female descendants because he seeks someone to be a mother to him and the Lost Boys, it’d only be natural for Once to delve into why he wants that so much. My pet theory is that he deeply loved his mother, but she was brutally taken away from him very early in his life and now he’s moving heaven and hell to get to be with her again.

I haven’t really considered that angle before, but given K&H’s penchant for family angst, how could they resist explaining PP’s mommy issues? I like your idea about her having been taken away from him, but how about for a nice twist we make it that he doesn’t know the full story of what went on. Maybe his mother made a deal with a previous Dark One that resulted in her having to hand over her first born? So he feels all abandoned and it drove him to be a nefarious little bugger, but he only has half the facts of what really happened, and we’ll see him discover those facts in present day. (Haven’t fully thought that out yet, just throwing it out there.)

I’m all up in the air about how I reckon they’ll handle Ursula. Will she be Regina? Will she be Rumple, or just someone Rumple worked with? Will the magical squid be a whole separate entity to the personification of Ursula? My preference is that Ursula be her own new character, but I just dunno which way they’ll end up going.

I’ve got to wondering, and someone on tumblr mentioned this, too, if Ariel will be able to travel between Neverland and Storybrooke. The connection between the two worlds. It would be wild and exciting.

This is what I was saying ages ago, about the water connecting the worlds. I’ve never 100% committed to the theory, but I’m justing sayin’ that they travelled through Lake Nostos to get to SB, and through SB Harbour to get to NL, and Hook also travelled through water to get between worlds (at least) one other time that we’ve seen. We’ve also seen a portal open up in the ground. Maybe there’s some physical connection of separate worlds between water and earth which is what makes travelling by portal possible at all.

Asked to foretell the future of Rumple’s ill-fated love affair with the Belle, the actor hints at the possibility of a happily

“One thing I can tell you,” he says with a twinkle in his eye, “they will meet again and they will meet in Neverland but it will not be what you expect.”

Well that’s intriguing. I’m inclined to side with TeamMagicMirror, at least for right now.

SwanQueen would never have happened anyway because of the family relationship. Regina is Emma’s step-grandmother. The last thing the writers would do on a family show is promote an incestuous relationship.

Something that makes me SMH is that these people who get all riled up about this SQ stuff being ruled out by K&H, I guarantee that one of the other things that gets them riled up is the debate over K&H not representing non-biological parents as having the same significance as bio-family.

Well…Regina may not be Emma’s grandmother by blood, but if you hold the belief that non-bio family is still just as legit, (which of course it is), then yes, Regina IS a legit mother to Snow…was for a significant chunk of her life…which means that Regina IS Emma’s grandmother.

But apparently the importance of non-bio family still being true family isn’t quite as important if it would get in the way of your ship? K&H ruling out SQ because it would be incestuous, (I realise they haven’t used that word, but this is just basic facts of the family tree, and Ginny has described it as incestuous), is a vote for non-bio family still meaning just as much as bio-family, which is something EvilRegals often get up in arms about them not endorsing. I’m not saying this to be mean or anything, it just honestly does not compute in my head how you could have it both ways.
