Bae never saw Hook as his father so CaptainSwan is not as “weird” as SwanQueen would be. If Rumple and Emma hooked up, that would be weird because Rumple is Bae’s father so Rumple is kind of like Emma’s father in law.
True, but there is a difference between father and father-figure. I think Bae saw Hook as a father figure. He sure felt as betrayed by Hook as he did with Rumple. I’m not saying that how Bae feels is standing in the way of CaptainSwan at all, though. I don’t think Bae’s relationship, no matter what it was, with Hook hinders a Swan and Hook romance.
