Here’s the thing with Neal getting out of FTL…he knows nothing about Henry being kidnapped and Emma going to find him, so right now, Neal has it in his head that the people he needs to get back to are in SB. But as long as the cloaking spell sticks, he can’t find a way back to SB.
Now, I’m not at all convinced that the cloaking spell is gonna stick, but who knows at what point it’ll break and how. Maybe it’ll be THO having a way to deactivate it, or maybe it’ll be Belle somehow getting info about Neal and breaking the cloak herself.
I would LOVE for there to be some Belle and Nealfire working together, so Emilie’s little comment in that interview and the way MRJ reacted was cool to see. But I also kinda love the idea of him jumping into a portal and thinking, “Take me to Emma and Henry,” expecting to land in SB, but instead he lands in NL. His “WHAT IN THE ACTUAL, OH GOD NOOOOO” reaction would be priceless.
