1) Tink’s surprising connection is NOT Hook because that was too obvious. I think that also rules out Bae because that is also too obvious. My money is still on Snow.
For sure rules out Bae. I’d think it’d rule out Rumple too, because we already know he has knowledge of NL. I like the Snow’s dark fairy dust theory. The way Eddy reacted when asked if they were having a different spin on Tink, (“Oh 100%!”), makes me think that she could definitely end up being a dark fairy. I also like the potential for her to have a Regina connection, if Regina really has been to NL before like JMo implied. Or perhaps Tink has been able to come to our world all this time and has a Regina connection via the adoption storyline? And even though it’s crackpot, I can’t bring myself to rule out the possibility of the Belle connection.
2) Henry’s belief is a big part of season 3. The title of 301 is totally about Henry.

3) Fairy Tale characters being kept in their backpocket. My thoughts are the Wizard of Oz. They are going to hold on to that until S4.
Oz for sure. I reckon they may have the official “Disney Pincesses” on a shortlist for inclusion. That full list is: Snow (done), Cinderella (done), Aurora (done, but she’s not the original Sleeping Beauty, so they may still have that story in reserve), Ariel (coming), Belle (done), Jasmine (likely candidate for the WL casting call), Pocahontas (who knows if they’ll do her or not, but if they do I’d guess they might mash her up with Tiger Lily in NL?), Mulan (done), Tiana, Rapunzel, and the most recent addition is Merida from Brave, but she’s probably too recent of an invention to qualify.
4) Sounds like 301 is going to be incredible and very revealing.

5) Bae may have a better idea as to why PP wants Henry. Interesting. I wonder how much Bae knows about PP. The boys being kept in NL against their will may have never met PP or had any interaction with him but maybe Bae did.
I really need for Nealfire to end up back in NL at some point so we can see him seeing PP again!! I could see Bae kicking up a stink while being held captive, because he wants everyone there to be set free. If that meant getting up in PP’s face, I reckon he’d have done it, because Bae is the guy who will step up and potentially sacrifice his own safety for the sake of others. Also, I imagine there came a time when Bae was let go from NL, and even if he hadn’t interacted directly with PP before then, it surely happened at that point in time. Maybe PP sent him on his way with some ambiguous comment like, “You’re no good to me here,” and now when Neal discovers Henry has been taken to him, the pieces will start to fall into place?

Great interview! Wow…I just keep getting more and more excited for season 3. I love the idea of belief being the main theme, and it also sounds as if Adam and Eddy really do get that season 2 had a bit too much everything and the kitchen sink. I get the impression they are going to reign it in and really focus on the characters and their relationships which is just wonderful and exactly what I was wishing for.
I cannot wait to see their take on Neverland.
Yes, it certainly seems that they have a very clear plan for dialing it back a bit this season, which is good! I can’t say they were wrong for what they did in S2 though, because if they hadn’t done all that stuff that led the characters to NL, they wouldn’t be in a position to write the dialed back stuff to its full potential. Judging by the way they keep describing NL, saying how that place forces people to deal with their past and their present because they’re stuck with no future there, and how they keep repeating that the place runs on belief…I don’t think the characters could effectively have these introspective, personal moments anywhere except for NL. So in order to show all this emotional journey stuff that’s coming up, all the 2nd half of the S2 storyline movement and action-y stuff was necessary to actually get them to where they are right now in NL.
