Phee…thanks so much for sharing that! That was such a beautifully written post. Especially the last part. I always try to muster why Neal should get a second shot but I could not have written even half of what was posted here so eloquently. It’s just that awesome. Kudos to sassyzinger.

Nobody on this show deserves love because love is not something the can be earned. Trust is. Respect is. But love? Love is a gift. It is something freely given, sometimes in spite of who we are or what we’ve done. And thank God it is because if not, none of our ships would sail. So, Hook deserves a second chance with Emma and is clearly going for it. Good for him. But so is Neal and if Hook and Regina and Rumple and every-freaking-body else gets a second chance at happiness then why shouldn’t Neal?
