was that he had to mention that he wasn’t using trickery. I find that interesting, because usually if you aren’t using trickery you don’t really have to say it because it’s not on your mind.
I was thinking about this before I went to bed last night but it was trickery of a sort. He is saying, Emma you have a choice. But he is also saying this choice already has a forgone conclusion, ie: you’ll give me your heart. Is it really a choice if you’ve told the person to whom you are giving it what the endgame will be? Then they don’t really have a choice. It was very NL mind game trickery
But what else bothered me was Emma’s reaction. I can’t believe that she would be so into it, to the point that I was starting to wonder if she wasn’t playing Hook. I mean she said it wasn’t a contest but she said it kind of breathy and I don’t know
I think Emma was affected by it more than the Emma we used to know would be. I’m blaming NL and the all the thousands of stresses.
