^^^^We don’t…we gush and fangirl all over it, LOL 😆
Forgot to mention that I love that Tumblr pic too with Emma staring right at Neal as her father hugs her. Somehow I totally missed that in the actual episode! Really nice moment and I agree with you guys about hoping we get more of these moments between them. They just get each other like no one else on this show and that just keeps showing up over and over again. I’ll be very upset if those moments stop but I think they’re going to continue. Just a hunch. 🙂
BTW-Nashville tonight reminded me SO much of OUAT and not with the actual stories. It reminded me of the battle between ABC and TPTB at Once….putting out their story and telling it the way they want vs. selling a show to advertisers. On Nashville, there’s this annoying tool of an executive who’s giving the main character (Rayna) a hard time about her master list of CDs among other things because he’s under pressure to make money for the record label. He’s going through all these hoops of making her life miserable to get a hold of her old hits so he can release a greatest hits album (complete with TACKY artwork, LOL) to make extra money for the label. He knows what’s selling, what the public appears to want right now, and he wants to exploit that at the expense of Rayna releasing music on her own terms (her next album wasn’t finished yet). Sounds like the battle Adam & Eddie may be having with ABC right now over OUAT, doesn’t it? They have a story they want to tell but ABC sees a character they can use to sell their show to what they think is a majority of the fans and in effect, the advertisers. A&E get stuck in the middle because ABC owns their show and they know advertisers keep it on the air, but they still have stories they want to tell THEIR way. The battle comes when they start setting up things for the future (i.e. SwanFire IMO) but have to please the head honchos now so they can keep the show in the media spotlight and get more advertisers (i.e. CS, again IMO). I find the entire thing fascinating and I really hope A&E stick to their guns because I think the SF story overall will give people much more satisfaction than something that doesn’t seem built to last. BTW-Rayna stuck to her guns and her beliefs, fought back against the annoying exec guy, and ended up figuring out an alternative for making the label more money (and she also stopped him from releasing the tacky greatest hits album). Stick to your guns Adam & Eddie! 🙂
