So I feel better. Someone sent Adam a pic of the hug and this is what he said

I’m continuing to put my trust in Adam and Eddy’s vision for the story they want to tell, and I believe Adam when he says that pic is so not what people think (i.e. not what CS fans wish it were). Maybe I’m just an eternal optimist, like Neal is (that’s probably why I love him so much!), but I really am not worried. A hug is a hug is a hug. To me it looks like Hook is comforting Emma like she’s just received some hard news. Also, the the much-hyped up kiss turned out to be a forehead kiss with a man other than Hook, I breathed a huge sigh of relief. It’s funny, but I’d actually prefer to see Emma date another man besides Hook, even if that man weren’t Neal. I still think the mystery man (played by Christopher Gorham) is probably not a romance though and is a familial relation to Emma (e.g. her foster brother). The kiss on the forehead was very similar to the kiss Charming gave Emma in 3×8.
