Mickstemp, yes! If these tweets end up being very misleading or contradicted, well we’ll sort of know that the writers did change gears on their story. There’s no reason for him to be so clear when he avoids spoilers normally, but he was. In part, I think it was because it wasn’t a “spoiler”–it was something some of us concluded by watching the show. Of course, people argued about it so we had no way to know as the show was not crystal clear. I hope this time if they touch on it, they do make it crystal clear that, well he didn’t set her up, and he didn’t call the cops.
It could be he knew about the jail plan or not, which I hope he didn’t, but if he did, then I hope it was for really, really good reason, like they needed to get her somewhere the Home Office could not touch or something like that.
