Precisely! Emma and Neal are meant to be! Even though a curse once separated them, we can also flip that statement on its head and say that if it hadn’t been for the original curse, Emma and Neal never would have met. Emma and Neal are no ordinary love in the sense that fate and destiny brought the together! In other words, Adam and Eddy have planned from the conception of the show that Neal, the reason for the dark curse, would meet and fall in love with Emma, the savior of the curse! It’s poetical, and Adam confirmed via Twitter that that’s exactly what they were going for! Not only have Emma and Neal been planed since S1, but in the official podcast for Manhattan,  they said that their story is about showing how two people who love each other but were separated can work it out! Emma and Neal may hit road-bumps, fake-fiancees, portals, pirates, and curses, but no matter what, destiny brought them together in the first time and destiny (aka Adam and Eddy) will bring them together again!. *Believe in Second Chances!!!!!!!!!* Plus, if Neal doesn’t deserve a second chance, then NOBODY does, because Neal has a heart of gold (as does Henry). Neal sacrificed his own happy ending for the sake of everybody else getting a happy ending! No one deserves a happy ending more than Neal and Emma!
