for a long time my headcanon of the Tallahassee incident is that the members of the Lost Boys were holding Neal back while August called the cops. And then to prevent Neal from running after Emma, they knocked him out.
I have a lot feelings about Neal
My head canon for that scene involves him coming back into the USA because he wants to find Emma after her 11 months in jail are over, but after he goes to Phoenix to try to find her, he ends up getting arrested for the watches anyway and spends some time in prison dealing with inmates who aren’t too kind to him. After he gets out (two years later…), he goes to Tallahassee hoping to find her there but he doesn’t because the two years she spent there were just ending as he was arriving to the area so fate, of course, has intervened yet again and kept them apart. That’s when he finally gives up looking for her and starts trying to figure out his life and eventually finds himself living and working in NYC. *sigh*
So many sad headcanons.
Can I just hug Neal? Is that a thing I can do?
