Not only did she keep the yellow bug for 13 years but that means she had to put money into to maintain it. She put a love and care in her yellow bug and even though she has an opportunity to sell it she has never had. Perhaps the yellow bug is a symbol of hope for her. And we know all happy endings begin with hope. Neal and Emma has had experience in losing hope.
