Two, MRJ has played some pretty nasty characters on TV in his career. I think I read somewhere that Neal may be one of the first ‘nice’ characters that he’s played in a while? I could be wrong about that but he’s certainly played some bad dudes. It looks like he’s been on Twitter for a while now so I’m sure he’s heard all sorts of things about the other characters he’s played which might actually be justified not having seen True Blood or his other bad guys (Terriers doesn’t count since he’s more good in that) in addition to the slop I’m sure he’s heard from this fandom.

Exactly! MRJ is used to playing hard-core villains! His character in the first season of True Blood was truly detestable! It’s not like an actor is going to completely quit just because of some whiny, loud and obnoxious CS fans, a lot of whom are fanatic teenage girls on Twitter. Imagine if every time an actor got a bad review, or got a negative reaction from crazed online mob of adolescent girls; there’d be no actors keeping at it, trying to push back, or pressing on with acting! It’s ridiculous what Twitter and teenage girls can do, but actors in this day and age can’t afford not to work just because of some very outspoken, brash, rude, and sometimes deluded fans. It’s ridiculous! I hope that MRJ has the sense not to let them get to him!
