Good Morning Everyone,

Let me jump in here on this debate for a moment if that is okay.  I personally believe that Neal & Emma are each other’s true love and they are endgame like Snow & Charming, Rumple & Belle.  There are just to many signs that point in that direction the first one being Henry’s Birth as we all saw during the season 3 premiere “The Heart Of The Truest Believer” Henry was born at exactly 8:15 PM at the exact moment of his birth lights flickered, went out for a brief second and came back on, which I think makes him like Emma The product of true love which means maybe he does have some magical abilities.  We know Emma can do magic and as we all so see in the premiere so can Neal if he so chooses to tap in to his blood magic.

Even after Emma was arrested I don’t think she ever once came clean and mentioned Neal so that tells me that she she still loved him  regardless of being set up by both August & Neal.  Once she got out of jail she took the bug went to Tallahassee I assume she went there to try and find Neal.  We know that she was there for two years.  If she didn’t love Neal she would have not even went to Tallahassee in the first place to search for him which is what I believe did.

 

Emma kept the yellow bug that was the only link she had to Neal and to some extent the son she had to give up.    If she didn’t love Neal then she would have gotten rid of the bug right away

Emma kept the Swan keychain that Neal got for her, she never took off except in Manhattan when she gave it back to Neal because she was hurt and angry.  Which to me is understandable kneejerk reaction to the event of finding out that it was Neal who is Rumple’s son and as well as the finding out why Neal did what he did to her.

Even throughout the rest of season 2 she still loved Neal but was in denial of that love because I felt she didn’t want to get hurt again.  We saw how she was willing to prove to Neal that Tamara was not the person he believed she was. We all saw how hard Emma was willing to fight for Neal after he was shot.  We saw the the determination she had to hold on to Neal when she finally admited to him that she needed him & Loved him.

We seen in Tallahassee how much Neal loved her.  Even after he tried to loose himself in Canada he couldn’t forget Emma. He even wanted Emma to have to bug & the money from the watches.  The Bug Emma did get but I think we can conclude that August took the money that was meant for Emma.  Neal even told August that it should have been him doing the time instead of Emma.  Neal even told Augustt that If Emma was successful in breaking the curse he wanted to go to her when she was free of that insanity.  August did send him a postcard of Storybrooke saying one word “Broken”

We know that Neal still loved Emma even before he met Tamara in that flashback scene with August in “Welcome To Storybrooke”  But I think Mulan had it right in The Heart Of The Truest Believer that Neal’s fear of Emma rejecting him overshadowed his love for her.  Which Neal admitted was the worst mistake of his life   Even while he was with Tamara I have the feeling he never really loved her and that was evident.  I personally think he was trying to be honorable and do right by Tamara even though he loved someone else.  Because that is just the type of person he is.

Rumple even called Neal out about it when he told Neal in “Second Star To The Right”  That he and Tamara were not going to last because he was carrying a torch for Emma, Rumple did the same exact thing to Emma in New York when he told her that she wanted a second chance with Neal.

Even Snow could she Emma still loved Neal and even said as much which caused Emma to deny that she still had feelings for Neal.

I think it was clear to both David & Snow  especially to David at the end of “Second Star To The Right” that Emma really loved Neal you could really see that in her grief and the way David just held her and kissed her head like any parent would in a case like that.

Even in the season premiere you could see in Emma’s how much she truly loves Neal especially when Hook gave Emma Bae’s sword.  We saw just how much Neal was willing to fight to get back to Emma by going to Rumple’s castles, looking for a magical item to find out if she was okay  but discovered she was in Neverland and now he is determined to go there.

My point is that even if something happens with Emma &  Hook I think it will be one sided from Hook’s side because Emma is focused on getting Henry back she doesn’t seem interested  plus she is still grieving for Neal.  Personally I think when Neal & possibly RH get to Neverland we may see Hook back off and stand aside for Neal & Emma to work things out because I don’t think Hook would want to repeat the past by doing to Neal & Henry what he to Rumple & Bae/Neal.

I believe it will take Neal & Emma together to rescue Henry from PP
