I agree with Mickstemp’s assessment. My first reaction was to question who’s missing? The absence of both Rumple and Neal seems strange to me. I think it is a funeral (though can’t be sure), but the question is whose it is. Would the writers really film a funeral for Baelfire, the long-lost son of Rumple, without the father present? That seems highly suspect to me. Perhaps this is a memorial service for Rumple and Neal can’t make it for some reason. Who knows?
