Do you know what happens to TRAUMA VICTIMS?! They fundamentally change. Their core beings change because they go through something that drastically alters the way they view the world.

Ok. I need to step back or something. Neal IS BAE. And BAE IS NEAL. He’s just grown up and gone through more CRAP than people can imagine. He’s been left and abused and abandoned and starved and held captive and left alone and he’s hurt and scared and thinks that he is just not plain good enough for anyone to ever love because he has been given a mountain of crap his whole life.
