Well here’s a thought–traditionally genies are trapped and it is whoever holds their container and frees them that gets to control the wishes. I agree with Phee–they can’t use their powers freely of their own free will.
So would it count if Belle busts him out of the basement? Would it count as him now giving her 3 wishes?
They could use a good villain though, so I think Genie/Mirror would HAVE to come out with bad intentions and a desire for revenge. Then our SB heroes could unite against him, and maybe his defeat might open a way for them to help the NL crew get back.
