Tink is presumably speaking out of ignorance when she says Regina ruined Robin Hood’s life. Robin Hood seems to have lived a full and rich life, despite the fact that Marian died. I think the old saying is true that it’s “better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.” Also, RH loves his son, Roland, whom Tink must not know about since it’d be horrible to insinuate having a child is a mistake. And even though RH surely misses his wife, he still has his band of merry men to keep his spirits up and give him companionship.
