So you don’t think they interacted with the outside world at all through the internet? That would be strange, wouldn’t it? If they did, I think those people in our world would get confused by what was going on in Storybrooke!
If the outside world had to remain oblivious to SB existing, it’s a convenient way to explain that if no one in SB ever had the urge to communicate with the outside world. I can buy the idea that none of them tried to communicate.
Except…Henry. He used the mommy finder website and MM’s credit card.
I could buy it if it turned out that the mommy finder site wasn’t a legit site, and was just a setup by someone who wanted Henry to get the info. If not, and that site was the real deal, then it means that Regina’s address is on record in a real world system, and I don’t see how that could be, because as far as the real world is concerned, Regina’s address doesn’t actually exist.
But then, MM’s credit card had to be verified by real world systems or Henry couldn’t have bought the bus ticket or paid for the cab. So magically created info has to be recogniseable by real world systems, even if the real world isn’t aware that SB or anything or anyone in it even exist.
Unless the bus and the cab were a setup too, along with the mommy finder site.
*headdesk*
Of course, all this falls into the category of things we are not supposed to think too hard about! 😉
And even though we know that, and we should just shrug and say, “it’s magic”, look at us go anyway. LOL 😉
