After all, Neal (Michael Raymond-James) may not be dead, but he has certainly left Emma before and therefore hurt her, and greatly. David may find he is more protective around Neal because he doesn’t know him. Time in Neverland will allow him to get to know Hook, though. “It depends how he proves himself. It depends if he becomes honorable or not. You know, in not only Charming’s eyes but Emma’s eyes, and that’s what’s most important anyway,” Dallas said.
