I just saw this on tumblr and it is really a very good observation. Look at Charming’s clothes! That we will likely meet Rapunzel in the year in EF without Emma.
I think it makes the most narrative sense as well to the missing year. Our characters have forgotten the missing year but like in S1(since this is a big reboot, in a way) A and E will show the audience what happened in that time even when our characters themselves don’t remember.
