I see it that way as well.
I’ve also had it in my head that if she’s in NL, she’s being held prisoner there. I guess there’d potentially be shades of Rumbelle to it, (which could be a fun little parallel story if Pan and Rumple do end up being brothers), and if Wendy’s been held there for a really long time, perhaps she’s realised there’s good in Pan, the way Belle saw good in Rumple. Difference is though, Belle has never been shown as being scared of Rumple, she’s always been defiant and self assured. Can’t say the same for Wendy when she came back from NL and was talking to Bae. So unless those tears and the trembling voice were all an act, I just dunno if I could get behind the idea of Wendy and Pan becoming a pair.
True, but she was 13 years old and quite naive then. I’m kinda hoping a few years of aging and a few decades in Neverland turn her into Katniss Everdeen, so to speak.
