Slurpeez – I’m inclined to think since they say soul mate and not true love that it means that you can love again once your true love is gone. So hypothetically you can have more than one soul mate. (Also one of the reasons I liked the pixie dust – it just said soul mate if I remember correctly).
I think since we were shown Daniel telling Regina to love again, it’s a nice hopeful message, so that those who have lost their loved ones aren’t destined to live alone forever. It may be possible to have more than one true love but maybe not at the same time? IE: Robin & Marian, Regina & Daniel, but also Robin & Regina (but not until they’ve both lost their other loves).
Typically Robin loses Marian after not much time so it’s nice that he too is getting a 2nd chance at love. As I’ve said in another thread, the pixie dust showed that Regina and Robin Hood were soul mates but it never specified when. Perhaps everything happened the way it was supposed to and now that they have both loved and lost, they might have more to bond over than they otherwise would have had. It’s only NOW that Regina is even close to being ready for something like that. She had to grieve Daniel for a long time to process everything, and on top of that knows she screwed up with Henry but is fighting to correct her past mistakes. We don’t know much about what Robin Hood has gone through other than losing Marian and being a single-dad running around with his Merry Men but maybe they weren’t right for each other until MUCH later down the timeline…give or take 40 years (most of which was under the curse).
As for what names are used elsewhere: too many, that’s what. Some who have been theorizing for months are using one thing, overnight shippers are using another. It’s a mess. So many options! I think most are trying to stay away from using Evil___ because they’re hoping this is the redemption arc for Regina so something Regal or Queen would probably work better, but even then there’s RegalHood, RegalArrow, HoodedQueen, HoodQueen, OutlawQueen. My head is spinning and I don’t know what to call them. I feel like maybe we shouldn’t use RegalHood though because that abbreviates to RH which would be confusing since it’s the same for just Robin Hood himself. If that helps anybody decide on anything…
