And in 309 Regina told Pan that she yes she cast a curse that devastated an entire land, she’s murdered and tortured but she regrets nothing because it got her Henry, something she didn’t even know she wanted. If Regina truly regrets nothing, than has her redemption really begun? Does she first must regret the pain and heartache she caused (same goes for Rumple and Hook!). Can their be redemption without confession and penance?
It would take too long to go through past wrongs..sometimes it’s best to keep moving forward and be better. That goes for Regina, Rumple, and Hook…just move forward!
But is it wise to just sweep all that hurt and heartache under the rug? “The past is the past!” and not deal with it. If Regina (and Rumple, Hook) never recognize that they’ve done is WRONG and CRUEL and HURT people then how can they move on and become better people?
All Regina, Rumple, and Hook need is someone that can help them move forward, and now they have it! In the past, all they had was themselves to rely on thus leaving them to their own darkness with no light. But now Rumple has Belle and Neal who will help him move forward to the light and redemption. Hook has companionship with Emma and David who will help him move forward. And Regina has family in Henry and Emma, friendship with Tinkerbelle(who never truly lost faith in her), and soon Robin and Roland who will all help her move forward! They have family!
