Even though I was hoping there would be some connection to the real Belle (and we may yet still find out that there is), I loved their interaction! I’m so glad she isn’t a trick by Pan! It seems one of my theories about her appearance was spot on- that his imagination brought a vision of her to life.
I loved their banter too! This version of Belle is very quick witted and likes to tease. She didn’t even flinch when Rumple grabbed her by the face thinking she was created by Pan.
It was also really nice to see Rumple truly conflicted that he would make a selfish decision again…he *wants* to do right by Henry…he really does…and that just made my heart swell.
