I’m gonna say a couple of things. 1. SF’s NEED to STOP BEING IN DENIAL! Stop saying that “Hook THINKS he loves Emma”. I assure you the man loves with all his might, he loved for over 300 years the same woman. He knows what love is and if Emma is the first woman since Milah to get him to believe that he can have his happy ending than that speaks loads for the amount of feelings he has for Emma. This is not THINKS he loves her, this is HE LOVES HER. The finale proved it, he was separated for an entire year from her and he thought of her every single day. If he only thought he was in love with her or lust then in that year span he would have moved on but clearly he did not. CS shippers NEVER deny that Emma has loved Neal in the past so you need to stop denying that Hook does not love Emma. As for how Emma feels for Hook, well Emma in 3×11 told him “Good” to his romantic declaration that not a day would go by that he wouldn’t think of her. Emma does not give false hope so her saying good is her encouraging him. She wants him to think of her every day, why I wonder? Gee it really is a difficult answer. 2. Emma WAS jealous in 3×10. A woman is being murdered at this point and screaming out for help, yet the thing she’s focused on is Hook and Tink STANDING next to one another. That’s it just standing next to one another and she asked “wait are you two”? Why would she ask that. Do not say it’s for curiosities sake because you’re just gonna be denying yourselves big time. Emma’s priorities at that moment should not have been on Hook and Tink, it should have been on the person being murdered. Clearly Hook and Tink bothered her, she was jealous. 3. If Hook for doing what he did in 3×11 is considered rape undertones in his dialogue, then the exact same can be said for Charming when he said the pretty much exact phrase in 1×16. ”Oh but Charming and Snow are considered true love, not Hook and Emma”. Yeah well guess what? Hook thought of her every day, he was chosen to come back for her, he fought and transcended realms to find her and ultimately he did. TL always find one another, so let that speak for itself. 4. The statement that Neal is the underdog in this triangle, really how so? After Hook and Emma kissed, Pan came into the picture and revealed Neal was still alive. Knowing that revealing Neal being alive would likely be the end of whatever was blossoming with Emma. Yet he STILL did it because he wants her happiness. He confessed his secret knowing that he was going to have his heart broken minutes later and he was telling the absolute 100% truth or the bridge would not have formed. Him and Emma had a very close moment in the following episode, which was interrupted by Neal(a love triangle cliche). The obstacle always interrupts the couple. Another love triangle cliche is the underdog ALWAYS has the longing look of pining that happens when he witnesses something between the obstacle and the main LI. This has happened 3 times in regards to Hook. Twice in Ariel and once in 3X10. Hook is the one that told Neal he would back off, another underdog cliche. Hook IS the underdog in this scenario, and he’s the one that the audience have placed emphasis on. When Neal got stood up did we see anything that happened afterwards with him? No because the focus was on how Hook was handling letting go of Emma for Henry’s sake. That was the focus, NOT Neal. So yeah that’s all I have to say ATM.
just to add on a bit
