I was just talking to gavioticaonthejollyroger and we should be getting a gifset for my Neal/Emma + Kathryn/David parallels tomorrow, i’m excited not gunna lie. absurdly proud of myself for spotting it lol

• Kathryn said she didn’t stop David when he left her – it was “the worst mistake she ever made”
• She didn’t go looking for him – she assumed he left town
• She wanted to say something she had waited a long time to say – “i’m sorry”
• Kathryn to Snow/Emma “Now we get a second chance”

 

3×01 (inverted numbers interestingly) and 3×03

• Neal said he didn’t go after Emma when he had the chance – it was “the biggest regret of his life”
• He didn’t go because he assumed she’d never forgive him
• He wanted to say something he had waited too long to say “I love you”
