Like, it really enforces, YET AGAIN, that it’s not a proper triangle. Because Killian is more than willing to let them have each other, the two people he loves. And let’s face it, he loves Neal, the affection was there IMO – “thanks for understanding” i.e. thanks for not hating me. D’aw. Both Killian and Neal realised that it was significant that Emma had not told Neal about the kiss, especially Neal with last weeks conversation. But there was also some banter between Neal and Killian too “Coconut? Are you daft?” “King of Neverland came on a pirate ship through a portal and you draw the line at a magic coconut?”. Like, there was genuine mutual affection there IMO.
I really hope that Neal doesn’t get mad about it, I don’t think he will, but he’ll definitely be thinking. I just hope he’s thinking about what Emma said to him and allows her to have her choice with no quibbles.
