I wonder if Emma may end up with neither Neal or Hook in the end. CaptainSwan and SwanFire fans are very passionate about their ship so one ship can’t be end game without upsetting the other ship with outcries of “the signs were there!”. By having neither ship be endgame, fans would be sad that their ship wasn’t successful but they would also be happy that Emma hasn’t ended up as part of the other ship.
This is very true. I am a die-hard CS shipper, BUT, if the writers develop Neal sufficiently, redeem him and make him Emma’s perfect counterpart – then I would be happy to accept him as Emma’s TL, though I would be pretty devastated. They need to make either couple easier for the other ship to respect. As it stands though, Hook is showing himself to be the Charming/Rumple to Emma’s Snow/Belle 😉 IMO anyway!
