Ok, so I was excited about the Hook and Emma hug, but I just saw the tweet from Adam where he responded to someone saying that they can’t accept Hook and Emma as a couple and now they’re in NYC. He said that we have NO idea what they’re planning. It seemed ominous. Not gonna lie. This makes me a little nervous for CS.
Nah, I’m not nervous in the slightest.
Adam gives the same tone with ALL of his replies on twitter, he’s always neutral and it’s always something about how “YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING, WATCH FOR CONTEXT”. Adam said the EXACT same for the kiss and look at what came from that – Emma questioning her feelings for Killian and the kiss revealing to Killian that he loves her.
Seriously, you shouldn’t worry, because one tweet cannot undo all of the AMAZING CS DEVELOPMENTS we have had this season. The truth is, especially with the last episode with all the action going on, they’re taking the time to give CS meaningful moments in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. True, the moments between them in 3×08 were subtle apart from one scene. But they still had Emma asking Killian for help with regards to David – it makes NO SENSE that she would ask him how to save David when he couldn’t even prevent his own brother from dying. So they put that scene there to emphasise to us JUST how much Emma relies on Killian now, and how much she trusts him.
They have had SEVERAL opportunities now to give us meaningful SF scenes where they are talking one-on-one. They manage to wrangle moments between other people alone, therefore there is no reason why they couldn’t, if that’s the relationship they intend as endgame and want to build on. SF have a heck of a lot of stuff to get past. BUT THEY AREN’T GIVING US SF SCENES.
So yeah, in short, they’re giving us CS instead of SF. And if they’re going for a SF endgame (spoiler: they are most certainly not) they’re doing it wrong.
Seriously i have never been more sure of anything in my life. I’m not even sure what i’m going to make for dinner later.
