I wasnt offended either- like obisgirl, I was more confused than anything else lol annwyn – I think in all fairness BOTH sides of ANY ship have the problems you are pointing out- Poor Ginny copped a TON of hate for posting CS themed stuff on her own Twitter account, Adam & Eddie have like wise- week after week, received hatred for even considering CS on the show- Colin & Jen get hate thrown at them too by SF shippers. Most CS’ers have also had Hook repeatedly bashed over the summer break, so if you ask a CS shipper/fan which ship is loudest or most in your face- we’ll probably say the opposite- SwanFires lol. Thankfully the hate hasnt been on here & the one time it did happen it was dealt with smartly. I dont read the SF threads myself (I dont see the point of working myself up over another ships interpretation of events
) I just think we should ship & let ship- always & forever
I agree! Again, I think this is just a reflection on the individuals throwing the hate and not each fanbase as a whole. I think you’ll find most people are pretty chill about this kind of thing. (It’s just a TV show!) But it’s difficult to focus on that because it’s not being vocalized that there are respectful shippers out there who just enjoy shipping who they ship. And for the record, I may not always agree, but I always respect other shippers and their opinions. That is all. 🙂
