LOVE that Emma is the one to initiate it so there’s no question of her wanting it. If it had been Hook, you KNOW we’d be reading about how he forced her and blah blah blah.
YEP. Even though it’s completely clear that he adores and loves her and he’s only ever been gentle/tender with her.
The aftermath is what interests me the most. Especially given how hot that kiss looks. I don’t see them as being able to just ignore that and sweep it under the rug and pretend that they’re just best buds and there’s nothing there. We’ve been saying from Day 1 that there is something undeniable between them!
The aftermath will be interesting. Emma will predictably put her walls back up, and Killian will probably be hurt about it. BUT he knows her. He knows her trust issues. He’s been very careful with her walls, doesn’t push her boundaries too much. In 3×02 after he said “perhaps I would” and she walked away he wasn’t surprised or disappointed because he had anticipated that reaction. It really does just go to show just HOW MUCH he understands her.
He is doing absolutely everything he can the right way and still getting grief for it. I really hope that seeing his backstory in the next episode calms that down a bit.
Let those people hate, don’t take them seriously. They don’t know Killian Jones at all, and it’s sad. But his goodness is there. He was never a true villain. And this season is all about believing he can be a hero.
The home thing. There are so many reasons to think it is on either side that it’s ridiculous as this point. We all have something to hold on to. But most RECENTLY, her home has been getting to Henry. HE is her home.
The “home” thing for “the other ship” (lol) I don’t particularly get. I agree with you that Emma’s home is Henry, her family is her home. Not Tallahassee or any other place (except maybe SB). Tallahassee was basically severed with the idea of home when Emma said to Neal that he had “found Tallahassee with someone else“. Not to mention the fact that she spent 2 very painful years there waiting for him to show up before she gave up on it.. Tallahassee can only have painful memories for her – it’s not somewhere Emma would call home IMO. Basically the two of them have given up on Tallahassee from my point of view.
I know he wants them to watch and for everybody to be happy but the fact that he keeps drilling in the context thing is only thing that scares me a little
Don’t be scared, because i’m not, not one drop! No matter what context the kiss is in, and if it’s actually Emma and Killian and not some vision (which i’m 99% sure it’s not) Emma is dropping down her walls. Adrenaline was mentioned – she is obviously on a high of joy and triumph and in that moment she realises that Killian is the person who made it possible. The adrenaline ALLOWS her to take down her walls and to grab him close and kiss the bejesus out of him.
I don’t see her going BACK unless it’s under 1 of 2 circumstances: 1. She feels like she has to give it a chance for Henry’s sake or that she somehow owes it to herself or Neal to try and see it actually play out and then comes to the realization that they’re not who they thought they were and they’re better as friends. 2. Someone knows she’s gonna pick Hook and gets in the way and blackmails her like King George did to Snow forcing her to tell Charming she didn’t love him. (One parallel I don’t want to have to live through!)
Hadn’t thought of no.2! But yes I agree I can’t see it happening either. You can forgive but not forget – you can’t just forget 10 years of pain that someone who LOVED you put you through. Not realistically anyway. And one thing about Emma – she has always been the most realistic character on the show, she’s the one who grounds it.
You don’t watch Hook falling in love with you and then kiss him and say it’s meaningless – ESPECIALLY with Hook since he can read her so well. I completely understand it being an adrenaline thing. You might do things you were otherwise too AFRAID to let yourself do in the heat of the moment than if you had time to think about it.

Seriously, there is no doubt in my mind that Emma and Killian are it – TL. They have been setting them up, very skilfully paralleling them from day 1, comparing Killian to Han Solo (and who did Han Solo fall for? A SASSY PRINCESS WHO DIDN’T TAKE HIS CRAP). They made Colin a regular before Neal. They actually considered making Henry’s father someone else other than Neal. And Adam has said today that the story was planned from the start. THIS MEANS THAT NEAL/BAELFIRE’S storyline is expendable, and can be manipulated. IF he was intended to be Emma’s TL, that wouldn’t have happened. Seriously, DON’T WORRY MYSTERYKAT.
AND if you think about it, Adam has said that if Neal went with Emma to break the curse terrible things would have happened. Now, the curse was broken by TL kiss from Emma. If you’re in a TL couple, then every kiss you have is going to be “true” right? So, why then did Neal not just go with Emma to SB to break the curse? Why did they “need” to be separated? There wouldn’t have been a need for any of that pain and suffering if they were TL.
