He seems like the type who will do anything for a price. He was about to walk away from Alice until she said she’d pay him, and after he put the cash down for the coffee in Granny’s, he picked it up again. So he seems to have a selfish streak. I could see him having been a mercenary type, working for and screwing over anyone who was willing to pay him, and that’s why so many people in WL justifiably want him dead.
Really curious to see how and why he jumped between worlds, and what his position as Knave of Hearts involved.
