I’m starting to get really suspicious. I mean, obviously they haven’t announced any new character that it could be, but they sure are talking up RH A LOT. I’m starting to suspect something, like they may be misleading us. I know, shocking (sarcasm). It just seems like a whole lot of press pointing us in one direction, when they’ve been so careful to keep so many other things quiet, all happening over the last few days. I guess all of this really reminds me of Neal = PP. So many clues and everyone talking about it, just to be hoodwinked.
Am I crazy? Don’t answer that.

I’m wondering if maybe they’ve been paying attention to murmours in the fandom about Regina’s love interest, and that’s why there’s now new info popping up about Robin. This theory of him being paired with Regina has popped up on tumblr a little bit, and there was an article, on the TVGuide site I think, that actually linked to their story about him being cast, at the end of a blurb they’d written about Regina getting a new love interest. So the chatter about it had already begun. Also, there’s been an increasing number of people shipping Regina with Tink, many people out there still insisting that Regina has to end up with a woman. A previous blurb about her new love was cautious to remain very gender non-specific and all inclusive. But now we have this new blurb that includes, “Regina’s love has to be very manly, and Robin Hood is that,” Parrilla says. “I’m getting very excited.” That pretty blatantly shuts down the speculation that Regina will be a lesbian, (or even bi), which was still persisting after the SQ meltdown, and in fact it seemed that some fans were latching onto the idea more than ever. So releasing spoilery info about plans to put her with manly man RH…like I said, I love a conspiracy theory. 😉
