I don’t think it is Robin Hood. Not just because of the Marian thing, but we’ve already met Robin Hood. I think Regina’s love interest is going to be someone new. Maybe it’ll be Eric and then there’s rivalry for his affections from Ariel. In the Disney version, Ursula transformed herself into Vanessa. Maybe they’re going a mixture of the Anderson and Disney route. Ariel fancies Eric but he loves someone else (Regina) so Ariel makes a deal with Ursula to become human. Only if Ariel fails she doesn’t become sea foam but Ursula’s slave.
How far from the curse being cast do the FTL events of Lacey take place? Robin and Marian looked pretty much in love there. Would Robin be ready to move on that quickly from Marian?
