The issue thus far with RegalHood is that they’ve never met but Regina’s love interest is supposed to enter into this story pretty quickly, but we know RH is in SB with Belle. Unless Regina’s love interest/love story doesn’t start until she gets back from NL, which makes sense. *rubs head* I don’t know anymore.

Yeah, I’m assuming the relationship wouldn’t happen until after Regina is back in SB, because, really, I just can’t imagine her mind being on romance while she’s in NL, hell bent on saving her son. So any romance she’s gonna be involved in, no matter who it’s with, has to come after NL, IMO.

Everything has been suggesting that the guy will be a new character. Would they stick some new guy in NL and have Regina fall for him before the audience even knows him? Or would they establish him in his own right when she’s not around, and then have them meet at a later date? The latter option makes more sense to me. Regina is a major character who the audience is incredibly passionate about. They can’t give her a random newbie who the audience doesn’t know or care about, because then the audience won’t think he’s worthy of her and the whole plot will be a total waste of time. We have to get to know who he is first.

As of right now, Robin is the only “new” adult male character we know of, in any land.

I agree that they won’t make Regina’s new love interest a woman. It’ll be like playing with lit matches near an ocean of gasoline (a flicker of light in an ocean of flammable liquid). SQ was ruled out with one of the reasons being Emma and Regina are both straight. If Regina was to suddenly show an interest in women then the SQers will be on Adam and Eddy’s cases saying why couldn’t Emma have been Regina’s love interest since they have chemistry blah blah blah. It’ll be like waving a red flag to a bull.

There does appear to be a growing number of people out there who are shipping Regina with Tink because, “Even if it’s not Emma, she has to be with a woman.”

Agreed! I had forgotten the fact Tamara was engaged to Neal! That would be so messed-up if she turns out to be Henry’s step-sister one day.

Here’s the thing though, show of hands who thinks Tamara is getting out of NL alive?
*crickets*
Who thinks they’re gonna (at least try to) make her sympathetic before she dies because she was just a brainwashed victim and didn’t really know what she was doing?
*applause*

Throw in the fact that I don’t believe that Neal and Tamara’s relationship was genuine love for either of them, and all things considered, I dunno that the, “I was kidnapped by my step-sister who was engaged to my dad” thing would ever be a real issue. Once she’s dead, everyone will put her in the past. That may be hardest for Robin if he was her father and never knew her, but it doesn’t make it all squicky from everyone else’s point of view.

I’m not alone in my insanity, evidently. 😉 How is you padded room?

It’s super comfy and cozy! 😆

Ad SDCC Lana did say that her favorite kill as Regina was going to occur this season and most of us instantly went “Tamara!”

I still reckon Greg’s the one that Regina is gonna kill. Granted, that may be influenced by wishful thinking, because Regina killing Robin’s daughter would sink the ship, but I honestly do think that when it comes to which one of GOAT Regina feels more personal hatred towards, it’s Greg. Tamara’s really just more of an annoyance as far as Regina’s concerned. With Greg, it’s personal, from way back.
