As of right now he seems more important to Cursed!Emma than Real!Emma. Which is why I sorta think he might be a one time 312 character. But hey…I could be 10000% wrong too
I’m thinking that Christopher Gorham’s character is someone from real Emma’s past (e.g. her foster brother). He could also be someone from her present, despite her being cursed. Perhaps they grew up together, but haven’t seen each other in 15 odd years. They then run into each other again while Emma is cursed, but Chris’ character either doesn’t know about Emma’s fairytale identity or chooses not to disclose it to her, because it would cause a very odd reaction in her, just like the time August tried to convince Emma he was a wooden man named Pinocchio. Emma, cursed not to remember her real identity, just would not believe she were the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming without the Blue Fairy’s potion.
