I said the candle thing seemed very Lumiere-like in the chat last night and it went virtually ignored v.v I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed It seems very random and put in place to me, as if to say LOOK AT ME!! they said the witch would have connections to SEVERAL characters… Who’s to say Belle never met her? Who’s to say she wasn’t the one who turned Lumiere into a candle thing (I can’t spell the appropriate word >>) the witch wont just be connected to Regina so I think it’s all possible. With the newest article, that sounds about right, that for the time in SB without memories, the Witch has sidled up to them and become their friend. Were you the one (or was it Wicked Regal) who said she’d be the principal? I think that’s true!

In SB, without recalling the year in EF, they will all befriend the WW, and it will come as a big shock and betrayal when she reveals herself as the one who cursed them and a bigger shock when she reveals she has the Dark One ‘s dagger and him under her control.

I’m not sure yet about the “monkey transformation vampire” type idea but Cora had zombies, plus in the Baum Oz  book there’s a GOLDEN cap to control them and we suspect Wicked has Mr. GOld aka Dark One Rumplestilskin under her green thumb.

So I could see that happening.  So I think the one they can’t trust is WIcked’s alter-ego, but given the promotion of Mader the writers aren’t expecting that to be a big shock.  They didn’t promote that she has Gold, so that’s a spoiler we aren’t supposed to know.
