I know this is a bit outlandish…but what about Astral Projection? Perhaps a spell to find something they need in the EF? And they all go looking for it, Bae included to search in his fathers castle. The projection could have changed their outfits so they fit in that world OR it is projecting who they really are, as in the real clothes they’d be wearing. Philora was just in the wrong place and the wrong time and witnessed the spell happening. Maybe Rumpel is the one casting it and had to stay to protect their bodies in an Inception type way 😛
