I sorta feel like it’s Rumbelle centric instead of either Rumple or Belle. My own headcanon is this: –present day Belle goes after Rumple having learned somehow that he’s alive –past flashback is Rumple and Belle in the DO castle with Lumiere, maybe dealing with some sort of problem as a team. Post-”Lacey” flashback. (and a ball room scene….please for the love of everything)
You could be right, though I can’t see Belle finding out about Gold so soon….. I would love more Rumbelle FTL FB, post-Lacey and/or post-curtain scene (I’m DYING for awkard Rumbelle; there’s no way their friendship wouldn’t be a bit awkward after realizing they each had feelings for each other).
Just some random thoughts:
I admit that I don’t see how a dancing scene fits unless it’s part of some dream/fantasy sequence because dancing is a pretty intimate activity and Rumple could barely handle being close to Belle, lol
The whiteboard said something about Belle finds……Lumiere. Now I wonder if possibly in cleaning up the DC, Belle comes across Lumiere …….? It’s possible Lumiere was the one servant Rumple had (he didn’t technically need one, with his magic, but the loneliness thing…….) and he turned him into a candle, lol. I really don’t want him to be part of Belle’s household because while I want more of her background, I crave Rumbelle. We’re not going to get much of it at all, if any, in the present time, so I want as much as I can get in the past
Slurpeez, yes she deserves a centric……I wasn’t implying that I didn’t want this to be Belle’s, but I think it’s a possibility. Still, I do think this is probably hers.
