I recognize that we haven’t seen this: but how does Blue react when Rumple kills Ella’s FGM? That’s another fairy lost yet we’ve never seen Blue react to this. Like KFC pointed out, she has lots of minions at her disposal for war so why does losing one fairy matter? Unless it is the way in which she looses Nova: to love.
Give the choice of “evil mastermind” or “sloppy writing” I do hope it’s the former but if it is the latter, I think A and E recognize it. Rumple’s line in ASOTM about how Blue just now thought up the potion to cure memory loss was priceless. Like A and E knew Blue has had a wonky season: not being able to break down Gold’s door with her good magic, but being able to turn August from a almost dead wooden man to a living normal boy, to casting a protection spell around beans. Her powers are all over the place.
