HE, I was thinking that but my only question then is WHY IS HE STILL WEARING HIS PIRATE GEAR?! haha everyone else is wearing regular clothes. Not that I mind the pirate gear, but you’d think if everyone else managed to hit the local Storybrooke Target, he would’ve too… You’re right about the baby part…a good reason why Snowing wouldn’t be able to go. Besides, “Hi Emma, we’re your parents you don’t remember – ok, yes, we refer to ourselves as Snow White and Prince Charming, and we’re the same age as you, and look, you have a sibling!” seems to be enough for Emma to call to transport these folks to the looney bin…even more than some crazy pirate!
Hook being in his normal pirate gear is also a reason I believe that he’s not cursed like the others. I mean Robin Hood has on normal clothes in the gurney scene(more on that later). He escaped in time before the curse happened which is why I believe that in FTL he found a way back to our world and to Emma. What means he used and why it was him chosen is a mystery but it will be revealed via flashback during the back half. He found her ultimately in the end and on a show where TL always finds one another, always fights it’s pretty dang telling. Goodness knows how long he spent searching for her but he thought of her every day proven by the face he made upon seeing her again, you can tell he kept his word. Plus he had a year to move on I have seen many here state that Hook is not in love with Emma. Well he had a year to move on without seeing her and instead his love not only grew for her, he ultimately searched and transcended realms and found her in the end. So you tell me if Hook is in love with Emma now?
As for the whole gurney situation, I think people are just desperate to know what’s going on with Neal or Rumple but realistically speaking I don’t think the person on the gurney is either individual, I believe it’s Roland.
Robin Hood being at the forefront is a dead give away just look at his face, just look at the panic. That’s a man concerned for his blood, his family. Neal is not Robin’s family. Neal is nothing to Robin, not even a friend, acquaintance at best. He helped Neal to pay a debt, once the debt was paid they parted ways. They spent their small number of episodes butting heads because Neal wanted to use Roland as bait to the shadow and Robin wasn’t letting that happen.
As for why Hook and Charming are there if it’s Roland? It’s a toddler on a stretcher, I think any human being is gonna be concerned over the well being of an injured child in a hospital. Hook and Charming are in the background because they’re not intended to be the focus, Robin is. Hook and Charming are probably there because Robin’s their friend and they’re showing him support which I’m sure he needs if his son just got hurt and they don’t know what happened or what did this to him. If it was Neal they would all be where Robin is and Robin wouldn’t even be there.
As for why it’s Roland? I think that has to deal in part to the Robin and Regina romance, because this show LOVES parallels and you all know they do especially within the present and past of the same episode. I believe Regina and Robin met, likely because Roland whom may have been injured and ultimately Regina saves him and that may be what happens in the present as well. Since Whale doesn’t know what happened or who did this to him, Regina may be the only one that can save him again.
