Yeah, it’s “off” just enough to give that scene a spooky vibe, like a slightly out-of-tune chord.
I think the worst CGI was when Graham’s wolf snarled in the tavern; its teeth floated in front of its face. They might have done better to leave the visuals alone and just add a deep (and growing) growl to the audio.
