First of all: Cruel, no matter what you think of her acting, to post a remark about that about a young girl that clearly put everything into that role. How would you like it if somebody started making remarks about somethi you absolutely poured your heart in? If something needs to change in her acting, it’s the director’s job to pick up on that not yours.
Secondly I think she did absolutely wonderful, we see Snow do things, like scold a servant that was un-Snow-like (but will make sense, come next episode) that were hard, and she did fabulous. Don’t forget, we see this gorgeous set, they are in a green room.
And ItachiIstar,, same goes for Jared, he is doing great. The madness about his mother’s lies could be better, but I think this is the writer’s fault. They have given him lines that are unnatural for him, and he is making the best out of it that he can. He is however to young to say: Hey, this does not work, I wouldn’t say that, let’s try it ….. , like a Robert Carlyle might do. He’s a kid, so he does what he is told. Again, not his fault. (The cheezy pizza line was horrid and stupid. Henry is too young (and still innocent) for sarcasm, and Jared is clearly just saying the line because he had to. The producers are trying to create an animosity between them that isn’t there, just so Emma and Gold have common ground. It should have been cut)Exactly!! This is the point I was trying to make. They are only young and as I said, don’t have as much experience as the other actors such as Robert. I was actually shocked by some of the comments I was reading on here.
Jared!? I haven’t seen someone make a bad comment about Jared until Itachilstar. I don’t know what TV show you’re watching, but I think he’s doing a terrific job, I can’t see anything wrong with his acting.
There’s no need to be so picky and attack the actors. I can’t believe some people – it’s never good enough for them![adrotate group="5"]March 5, 2013 at 9:20 am #177272In reply to: Bailee Madison – Over acting?

So here’s the cast from the press release. I have gone through and marked out the only ones that we haven’t seen filming since this episode (Not including the ‘Welcome to Storybrooke’ flashback). And we know it’s a major character so I’m not including the pretty much cameo cast. Needless to say, there isn’t a lot of options….
“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
Guest starring are Barbara Hershey as Cora, Michael Raymond-James as Neal Cassidy, Rose McGowan as younger Cora, Gerry Rousseau as father, Joaquim de Almeida as King Xavier, Eva Allan as Princess Eva, Zak Santiago as Prince Henry and Sonequa Martin-Green as Tamara.
And the promo said ‘One of their own’…. I have a really bad feeling about Ruby.
Meghan may not necessarily be in this ep, even though she’s in the cast list. She’s a main cast member, so should be in the cast list in the press release for every ep, whether she makes an appearance or not, right?
Considering the press release mentioning Rumple being close to death and Snow being tempted by dark magic again, I’m sticking by my theory that she’ll use the candle to save Rumple, and kill Cora. “One of their own will perish,” could easily refer to Rumple, (now “one of their own” because he’s family) losing his Dark One curse.

Regina and Emma have a look on their faces of shock in the one picture. I’m thinking a) something happens to Henry or b) she has just realized Cora could care less about her and Emma switches into caring mode like she does with Regina constantly. And I think that would happen when Emma threatens to kill Regina and Cora tells her to go ahead cause love is weakness and Regina has served her purpose.
Oh I like that! Regina needs that reality check of having her mother toss her aside, just like she did with Hook.

ParticipantI think it’s Hook’s own fault he keeps getting beat.He either way underestimates pretty girls(so far Emma,Belle…and Snow too?….have beat him),or he’s just too focused on himself or on whatever to see it coming. He’s still very dangerous…..it’s just that all the pretty girls are able to get the best of him, which I find quite funny. 😀 As for them losing–Snow’s already losing the battle against the lure of evil, and she lost the showdown in the clock tower.Emma’s losing in her battle for both Henry and Neal….I’d say they’re both pretty conflicted at the moment, even if it’s not hand-to-hand combat.
Keeper of King George's Coat of arms;Tiny's pickaxe;Belle's bronze vase;Emma Hacker device and true love kiss to Henry;Granny's surcharge on pickles;Snow's "Good will always win;Regina's apple turnover;Gold's pink shirt,Mickey phone,&glasses(1x12);RQ's chess set,and Chip's shattered remains

Hook getting bested by Emma AGAIN with an umbrella stand. I love him, but someone should revoke his villain card.
I wouldn’t. Especially after the way he took care of both David and Rumpel. As for Emma besting Hook . . . it’s getting boring.
Hook is the Worf of the show.

In fact, I’m getting tired of either Emma or Snow White besting people all of the time. It’s boring. For once I would like for either of them to lose a fight. It would be more realistic.

at a glance, I’m going to say that whatever’s happening in this scene, it’s not romantic. it’s the look a father has when he’s giving away his daughter.
Maybe it’s the denial talking, but I agree with this. In that one pic, he’s sitting in front of her, not kneeling to propose. There’s another pic of him sitting in the chair, so my guess is that’s how he pops into the room. Then she walks over and takes his hands and they have a, “Thank you so much for making this happen,” “Oh, my pleasure, dearie, you’re gonna rock this kingdom, my little apprentice,” type exchange.
Also, that pic of Charming, Nealfire and Emma with swords at the ready is made of awesome! Not convinced that’s a wand Emma’s holding to Regina’s throat, I think it might just be the nearest pointy object she could grab to threaten her with, to hold her back from going to Cora, who appears to be spelling out (pun) all her machinations and gloating about her victory a bit prematurely.

ParticipantIf Eva and Cora are sisters, that would make Snow Cora’s niece and Emma, Cora’s grand niece. And also Henry would be Cora’s great great grand nephew or something. 😆 😆
That would be too much.
