ding ding. It was Chernabog.
– He turned to dust because he, a magical creature, crossed the town line into a magic-less world.
– Him being evil is a little debatable considering his purpose was to keep the dark curse from ever being casted by devouring evil potential casters of the curse. So…technically he’s kind of leaning on the good side. An antoganist sure, but I don’t think he can really be considered evil.
– I said “he’s dead as far as we know” because his death doesn’t make sense. I assume he turned to dust because he’s a magical creature entering a non-magical world, but that would mean mermaids would turn to dust if they came to our world or the shadow or any other magical creature. So my headcannon is that he just turned into a bat or something.
